Pittsburgh City United FC, The UPSL's newest soccer franchise to hold "Virtual Press Conference"

{Pittsburgh, June 2nd} - Pittsburgh City United FC is pleased to announce our first virtual press conference THURSDAY JUNE 3rd to address our upcoming inaguaral season in the United Premier Soccer League, as well as our partnership with the Alzheimer's Association.

Pittsburgh City United FC is a new franchise in the premier division of the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) set to debut in the Fall Season of this year. The organization has a charity focused approach, specifically focusing on supporting the Alzheimer's Association, through community outreach and fundraising.

The team will donate 50% of all profits from tickets and merchandise to the Association, as well as require staff and players to contribute a minimum of 4 hours of their time per season to volunteer for the Association. The team will premier the Alzheimer's Association logo on the front of their jersey to help spread awareness for the Association.

"The Alzheimer's Association is proud to partner with Pittsburgh City United FC," said Clay Jacobs, Executive Director of the Alzheimer's Association Greater Pennsylvania Chapter. "Their dedication and desire to make a positive impact in Pittsburgh and surrounding communities will help highlight the key resources provided by the Alzheimer's Association. We're excited that this partnership will make a positive impact for many local families and we are looking forward to the kickoff of the fall UPSL season."

The team has also partnered with Admiral sports, who will provide the kits for the team, including the special edition Alzheimer's Walk Kit, that will be worn by the players on October 16th at the final home game of the season, which will take place shortly after the Pittsburgh City Alzheimer's Walk and will be played at Highmark Field.

Full90, the world's leader in soccer head gear, has also jumped on board as a sponsorship partner and will provide headgear for the players, as part of the team's vision of promoting a stronger concussion safety protocol for its players.

"We are very excited about PCUFC's goal of both donating a large portion of your organization's potential profits to the Alzheimer's Association and for spreading the word out there about this most important and unfortunately tragic issue that needs more attention.

That is why we are very honored and grateful to be a part of such an organization and we look forward to sponsoring PCUFC and becoming the official headgear company for the upcoming season in the UPSL." - Tim Killeen, CEO, Full90
