Pittsburgh City United To Unveil "SPECIAL EDITION" Alzheimer’s Awareness Jersey in New Partnership with Macron. Pittsburgh City United has partnered with the popular Italian kit maker Macron to unveil a new SPECIAL EDITION Alzheimer’s Awareness Jersey for their inaugural Walk To End Alzheimer’s Appreciation Game at UPMC Graham Field this Saturday Kickoff 6:00 PM. The special edition jersey will be available later this evening on the team site and in the Macron store for $60 with half of the team profits from each jersey sold going to the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Pennsylvania Chapter. “We want our fans who buy a ticket to our games or buy our jerseys online to know that they are contributing not just to our club, but to the Alzheimer’s Association here in Pennsylvania and their efforts to find research and expand their outreach efforts. We strive to instill purpose in everything we do at City United and providing avenues like ticket sales and merchandise as a way to donate to the Association helps instill our sense of purpose with our fans. Macron has quickly proven to be an incredible partner and we look forward to a long future with them as well as the unveiling of a very special jersey for a very special cause.” ⁃ Michael Anton Monsour, Owner, Head Coach City United (5-2 l-1 16pts, 2nd Beltway North) will face off against division rival Sure Sports (5-2 l, 15pts,3rd place Beltway North) in a playoff-clinching game that will also keep the winner in the hunt for the Beltway North Division Title. The game is scheduled for Saturday, October 16. Kickoff at 6:00 PM UPMC Graham Field, Pittsburgh, PA. The team will also be part of the Pittsburgh Walk To End Alzheimer’s earlier in the day, where the team will assist in the day’s activities and will be there for encouragement and support for all the walkers in attendance that day. “We will be there to help in any way we can and to show our gratitude to all of the volunteers and healthcare workers who have made this "The Walk To End Alzheimer's" such an important event for all of us. Our game afterward is a celebration of their tireless efforts. And we hope the city of Pittsburgh will join us at UPMC Graham field at 6:00 PM in celebrating those efforts.”
