Defender Curran Re-signs for a second season with City United

Pittsburgh City United's first signing for the 2023 season will be a veteran presence in its backline. On Tuesday, December 6th the club announced that they will be re-signing Aidan Curran for the 2023 season.
Terms of the deal, which is pending league and federation approval, were not disclosed.
“We are excited to have Aidan come back for another season with City United," said sporting director Dante Nicholas. "He has been an exemplary player on the field as well as off. His dedication, experience, and character is something I know will be an asset to the club this coming season.”
From Waterford, Ireland, the 28-year-old Curran has played collegiately at the University of Findlay before a well traveled professional career that saw him representing four clubs before establishing himself in Pittsburgh. In addition to City United, Curran has his own private soccer training business called 90 Minute Fitness, which focuses on the individual soccer development of young players.
Curran will make this his second year with the Pittsburgh based club after arriving in 2022. He has started 7 of 8 matches played making him a regular starter at the club.
With this first signing City United has planned to continue to have more before the end of 2022 in order to solidify the spine of the team.
