City United has resigned midfielder Ndayisenga "Passi" Emmanuel.

"I am excited and thankful for this opportunity to be apart of this wonderful club.  There is a lot to work on moving forward and I can't wait for the season to start. It's going to be a good one!" said Emmanuel upon signing for his third season with the club.

"The club is happy to have Passi back as he has been a versatile player in the midfield and also a wide player.  He is going to play a key part in our upcoming season, so I would encourage spectators to keep an eye on this one," said Dante Nicholas.

City United has also resigned forward Janvier Ramson.

The forward came into the club's last season with a strong start, registering 5 goals in his first game against the Youngstown Nighthawks. Unfortunately, he sustained an injury in City United's third game of the season which kept him out for the remainder of the season. That has not affected Ramson's form as he is coming off his last college season at Carlow University as their all-time single season top scorer.

“We are excited to have Janvier back as he will be one of our biggest offensive threats throughout the season. He’s proven to our staff time after time that he has what it takes to play at the top level, now we are just providing him a platform for the world to see what we know he can do," said Nicholas.

Almuthenna Baled returns as well after the 2022 spring season.

The forward has established himself in the City United squad as a set piece specialists after registering 3 goals in 2022 from spot kicks. The forward has also been a threat to opposition backlines. Throughout the season he solidified himself as regular starter starting 8 out 9 games that he played.

“We are excited to have Al come back for another season with City United. He has always been one of the hardest workers at training. So this season will be a great opportunity for him to work hard to push himself to the next level, as I am sure that is his ultimate goal.” - Director of Football Dante Nicholas
